David’s role as the closing keynote speaker was to bring the event together with clarity and momentum. He has been a loyal customer of Travel Counsellors for five years and knows the organisation deeply. That relationship shaped the session. David spent months collaborating with the internal team to design an experience that was uplifting, practical, and entirely bespoke.
His keynote, titled “The Science and Psychology of Persuasion and Influence,” explored how mindset can create extraordinary outcomes. He broke down the behavioural science behind influence, trust, and human connection. One of the most powerful moments of the session came when David shared a very personal story about his own travel counsellor, Fiona Bell. As someone who may take up to twenty five flights in a busy month, travel used to bring chaos, stress, and uncertainty. Since working with Fiona, that pressure has lifted. David shared openly how she has transformed his experience as a traveller and why this partnership has had such a profound effect on his life.
