David Meade was pleased to deliver a motivational keynote at the Arjo UKI National Kick Off, held at the Hilton Hotel in Belfast city centre.
Arjo is a global leader in medical and care equipment, supporting healthcare providers, health trusts, and private care organisations across the world. The business focuses on improving patient mobility, safety, and dignity through innovative solutions that support both caregivers and those receiving care. With a strong international footprint and a clear purpose driven mission, Arjo plays a vital role in enhancing outcomes for patients and communities alike.
This event brought together Arjo’s team for a moment of alignment, reflection, and ambition as they set their direction for the year ahead. For David, it was a rare and welcome opportunity to work on home soil in Northern Ireland, adding a personal dimension to an already meaningful engagement.
David worked closely with Kevin Dare, the UK CEO, in the months before the event. Together, they designed a keynote that would engage and challenge the audience. The session was built from the ground up to reflect the unique nature of the healthcare sector – where success is measured not only in performance but also in the quality of care delivered to patients and end users.
The keynote explored the science and psychology of decision making, helping the audience understand how the choices they make every day shape outcomes for both their business and the people they serve. CSR Team-Building
Alongside the keynote, the team also took part in one of David’s team-building programmes, Toy for Life, delivered in partnership with Lightbulb Teams. Through this activity, participants worked together to build toys that will be donated to children around the world. It was a powerful reminder that the impact of their work extends far beyond their immediate environment and into communities they may never meet.
David expressed his sincere gratitude to the entire Arjo team for their warm welcome and for the important work they carry out every day. He noted the professionalism, care, and purpose that define the organisation and its people.
