Event Emcee & Host

David’s role this year was wide ranging. He served as Emcee (MC), closing keynote speaker, and host of the Innovation Awards. He also curated and chaired a major panel discussion on the future of a gentic AI. It was a significant brief, and one that drew on the full breadth of his expertise.Relativity selected him again because of his proven ability to energise, challenge, and unify large audiences, and because his work sits at the intersection of psychology, human behaviour, and high performance. Those themes continue to resonate strongly in a sector that is evolving at speed.

His closing keynote focused on the psychology of change. David explored how individuals and organisations respond when the landscape shifts around them. He unpacked the forces that shape uncertainty and shared practical tools that help leaders remain confident and proactive during periods of complexity. His message was clear and actionable. Change can be unpredictable but it can also be designed, influenced, and led with intention

He offered insights that helped delegates navigate chaos with clarity. He showed how evidence based psychological techniques can help leaders communicate more effectively and bring people with them even when those people might be cautious or reluctant. His session struck a balance between strategic direction and real world applicability, which is why it resonated deeply with senior professionals who are shaping the future of legal technology.

Speaking about the event, David noted,

“Relativity Fest always shows what is possible when a community commits to progress. The calibre of expertise in the room was remarkable and it was a privilege to contribute to a conversation that will shape the next chapter of this industry.”

The panel on agentic AI was another highlight. David worked closely with an exceptional group of thought leaders for several months to prepare a discussion that was timely, rigorous, and future focused. The conversation explored the emerging capabilities of agentic AI and examined its potential long term role within legal practice. It was a session that blended technical depth with practical foresight and was warmly received by the audience.

Relativity Fest: An Engaged Audience

The room remained highly engaged throughout the event. Delegates were open, reflective, and keen to explore new thinking. Their professionalism shaped the entire experience and demonstrated why Relativity Fest is viewed as a flagship event for the sector. Many commented on the clarity and energy that David brought to the agenda, and how his presence helped maintain pace, cohesion, and connection across a very busy programme.

It was also a special moment for the industry when David hosted the Innovation Awards. The ceremony celebrated remarkable achievements from across the community and reinforced how far the sector has come in a short period of time.

As the event drew to a close, David shared his appreciation.

“It is always a joy to join the Relativity team. Their ambition and attention to detail are world class and I am grateful for the trust they place in me each year.” He also thanked JC, Andrea, Kelly, and the wider team for creating an environment that felt welcoming, polished, and expertly produced.
